The House yesterday unanimously passed an amended House Bill 621 by Rep. Barry Ivey. The legislation would allow the legislative auditor and his designated agent(s) to access the records of vendors that provide actuarial and investment services to TRSL. House Bill 42 (Rep. Jones) was vetoed by Gov. Bobby Jindal today. The bill would have authorized a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) of up to 1.5% to eligible TRSL retirees and beneficiaries, effective July 1, 2015. The legislation also contained several pension reform provisions.

House Bill 42 (Rep. Jones) would authorize a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) of up to 1.5% for eligible TRSL retirees and their beneficiaries, effective July 1, 2015.
