Session News #20: COLA bill update - June 11, 2015

House Bill 42 (Rep. Jones) would authorize a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) of up to 1.5% for eligible TRSL retirees and their beneficiaries, effective July 1, 2015. The bill also makes changes that positively impact the long-term funded status of the System.

HB 42 awaits action by the Governor.
